Hello and welcome to the Double D Racing blog.We will keep it updated with news and results for the 2008 season racing with the NG Road Racing Club.
The Double D team consists of riders Darren Rumley,an interior designer and decorator from Stroud and Danny Frankham,a telephone engineer from Watchfield in Oxfordshire.We are lucky to have Tony and Windy both from Stroud who help out in the pits and Danny's wife Helen who is always on hand for bacon sarnies and taking off tyre warmers etc.
Both riders started racing in 2007 on carb model R6's but as the season went on and the bug bit,Darren upgraded to a 2007 R6 with Danny buying a 2006 model in the close season from fellow racer Keith Sizeland.
